OFF-SEASON-NOISE-OFF

Thankfully the current offseason has been a breath of fresh air with regards to San Francisco’s business of personnel and the like. The usual shenanigans from the hum drum of analysts and fandom mouthpieces have been timid in comparison to recent seasons. Star players like Deebo Samuell and Dre Greenlaw have left, and the red and gold powerhouse are moving on from the household depth pieces and quick fix free agency signings alike.

The business of the offseason has decimated the Niners depth chart. Free agency has been reasonably mute in regard to personnel signings with a clear mandate in place to focus entirely on the draft. The defense needs re-building schematically from the ground up, starting with the foundation which lies squarely in the trenches for San Francisco.

As per norm, NFL franchises have cherrypicked from the Niners vaunted coaching staff but thankfully Robert Saleh, club legend and fan favourite is back to re-steer and re-align the beleaguered defense. The pressure is on the establishment, like never before thanks to the mass exodus of players. The 49ers hierarchy have to hit the ground running with home run selections in the upcoming draft in order to remain competitive and to extend the window for the quest for six.
