CORNERED TIGERS – PAKISTAN CRICKET TEAM

The conversation, emphasis and spotlight is rightfully focused on cricket and not stereotypical drama, infighting and politics. The current growth, maturity and professionalism is a breath of fresh air. Thankfully Pakistan has never had a talent problem but suffered mightily from ad-hoc management, old-world infrastructure and methodology.

The recent adoption and implementation of the Australian system at national level by the PCB and Imran Khan is bearing fruit. Results are improving on and off the pitch, domestic cricket and PSL standards are increasing plus global appreciation and appetite for Pakistan Cricket is also showing continued growth.

Ramiz Raja has the respect, credentials and the nowse to continue to lead Pakistan Cricket accordingly. Thank you Wasim Khan and Imran Khan for having the will and the courage to instil and implement change.

UPDATE

Pakistan Cricket Board should be renamed, two steps forward, four steps back. The removal of Ramiz Raja was without merit, unprofessional, unconstitutional, and politically motivated. Not sure how Ramiz lasted this long into the current political regime. Live long and Ramiz Raja!
